A chat that stays readable
While the agent works, its messages fold into one line: a spinner, the message count and how long it has been at it. When the turn ends only its summary stays. Open the fold to see every step, thought and screenshot as it happened. Each message carries its time, with the exact date on hover.

After a two-hour turn the chat shows your prompt, the agent's answer and one folded line. The 163 tool calls are there if you want them.
Check how it got there
Open the fold and walk through the commands, edits and screenshots in order, each with its status and time.
Come back after lunch
Timestamps read 12 min ago; hover for the exact date. The dividers say what each turn cost while you were away.
Copy a reply into a document
Copy rich keeps headings, lists, links and coloured code when you paste into a document or mail.
How it works
The chat shows the agent's messages and, folded, each tool it used: commands, file edits, and the screenshots it took while using the desktop (a row that holds a screenshot shows a small picture icon). Replies render as Markdown with syntax-highlighted code and Mermaid diagrams. File paths are links into the Code pane.
Each turn ends with a divider that says when it ended, what it did to the context window, how many model calls it made and what it cost, and carries Revert to here. The prompt box is Markdown too, with a preview mode.

Devin shows a timeline of steps you can expand; Cursor Cloud Agents, Codex cloud and Claude Code on the web show the agent's log with collapsible tool calls. Sessionboxer folds the whole turn to one line with a count and a timer, and adds per-turn tokens and cost on the divider. Claude Code and Codex in a terminal scroll; T3 Code gives them a chat UI.
