Sessions

Folders and pins: organise the session list

Pin a session to the top of the list, group sessions by project in folders, drag between them, right-click for Pin, Move to folder, Snapshots, Fork, Stop and Delete. The layout lives on the Control Plane, the same in every browser.

Pin a session to the top

The sidebar lists sessions newest first. To keep one at hand whatever its age — the project you come back to every day, a long-running agent — hover it and click the pin that appears at the right of its row, or pick Pin to top in the session's ⋯ menu. Pinned sessions sit above the others (newest first among themselves) with the pin shown in colour; click it again, or Unpin, to let the session back into date order. The pin belongs to the session, not to the browser: every device and sessionboxer list see the same order.

Folders

Sessions can be grouped into folders: click the 📁+ next to New (or a session's right-click menu → Move to folder → New folder…) and name it. Folders sit at the top of the sidebar, sorted by name, each with its sessions under it (pinned first, then newest, as in the plain list) and a count; the sessions that are in no folder list underneath. A click folds a folder away — the browser remembers which — and an empty folder stays, showing Drop sessions here.

Move a session by dragging it onto a folder's name or onto a session inside it; drop it on an unfiled session or the bare list to take it out of its folder. The same moves are on the right-click menu every session row has: Pin, Move to folder (the folders, the current one ticked, No folder), Snapshots…, Fork…, Stop or Resume, and Delete — on a phone, a long-press opens the same menu. Right-click a folder's name to rename or delete it; deleting a folder never deletes its sessions — they move back to the unfiled list. Forks start in the folder their origin was in. The folders and their contents live on the Control Plane, so every browser sees the same grouping.
